Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and 1600314 B.C. Ltd. ("Perri," "we," "us" or "our") and govern your use of the Perri app, website and related services (the "Services"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. The Services

Perri is an AI personal assistant. It reads the accounts you connect (such as mail, calendar, and a phone number for calls and texts), keeps track of what matters, and helps you act on it. The Services are in early access. Features may change, and some may not work as intended.

2. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@getperri.com if you believe someone else has access to your account.

3. Connected accounts

By connecting an account to Perri, you confirm that you have the right to connect it and to allow Perri to access it.

4. Communications with other people

Perri handles conversations with other people on your behalf. You are responsible for ensuring that you are permitted to involve an assistant in those conversations under the laws that apply where you are and where they are. Perri supports this: it sends people a notice, it stays off a call until the person has replied YES to that notice, and it honours anyone who asks to be left out. Your relationships with those people, and your responsibilities to them, remain yours.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the Services to harass, deceive or monitor anyone, to break any law, or to do to another person what you would not accept being done to you. We may suspend or terminate any account used in this way.

6. Actions Perri takes on your behalf

Perri can draft and send messages, place and answer calls, and take actions you have asked for. It asks you before anything reaches another person for the first time, except the one-time notice you agreed to when you set up your Perri number, and it tells you what it has done. Perri is software and can make mistakes. Review anything important before relying on it, and tell Perri when it is wrong.

7. Fees and payment

The Services are free during early access. If we introduce paid plans, prices will be shown on our pricing page before you are charged. You may cancel at any time; cancelling stops future charges and does not refund past charges unless we state otherwise. Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are in Canadian dollars plus applicable taxes unless shown otherwise.

8. Your content

Your mail, calendar, calls and notes belong to you. We hold them only to provide the Services to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. Notes Perri makes about you are made for you, and you can see them in your data export.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, including any warranty that the Services will be available, accurate or fit for a particular purpose. We work to fix problems when they occur.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Services is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. You can disconnect your accounts and ask us to delete the information we hold. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents us from doing so.

12. Changes to these Terms

If we make a material change to these Terms, we will update the date at the top of this page and show a notice in Settings until you have reviewed it. By continuing to use the Services after a change, you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
